POINT WELCOMES THE SOUTHWEST FLORIDA SYMPHONY TO PERFORM BACH AND MORE
CONCERT
“We know
that Shell Point residents and visitors
show a deep
appreciation of symphony music, and this series has become a huge
success,”
said Dawn Boren, director of resident life. “This
is
our third season to partner with the Southwest
Florida Symphony, and they have offered supreme performances for every
audience
member.”
Rich in soaring strings, this concert features two
celebrated Bach works (from father and son), a dazzling oboe solo and
Schubert’s mass in “G” with the angelic voices of the Symphony Chamber
Chorus. This concert will offer music
varied supremely crafted in every note, featuring Dione Chandler,
principle
oboe; and SWFL Symphony Chamber Chorus.
