FORT MYERS, Fla. (March 5, 2010) — The public is invited to a forum with Democratic Florida Gubernatorial Candidate Alex Sink on Monday, March 22, at 10:00 am.  This community forum will be at Shell Point Retirement Community inside the Shell Point Church Auditorium on the Island.   

Sink was elected as Florida’s CFO in 2006, and has led the charge to cut wasteful government spending and stand up for Florida’s consumers.  As CFO, Alex Sink has created programs such as ‘Safeguard Our Seniors’, aimed at protecting Florida’s seniors from financial fraud.  CFO Sink’s Safeguard our Seniors workshops have helped Florida seniors recover nearly $9 million and put senior scammers behind bars.
